Built On Integrity

Worthy Finishes emerged from a simple belief that painting deserves respect and families deserve better.

Legacy

A family's promise to paint with purpose

Worthy Finishes was born from a family conversation about doing things right. We believed that painting was more than a trade—it was a craft worthy of respect, and every homeowner deserved to work with people who treated their space like their own. That conviction still guides every brush stroke we make.

Values

What we stand for

These principles shape how we work and who we are.

Family comes first

We treat every client and crew member like our own.

Integrity in every stroke

No shortcuts, no excuses, just honest work done right.

Professional

In-house crews you can trust

Our team stays consistent, skilled, and accountable always.

Organized

Clean job sites from start to finish

Respect for your home means respecting your space daily.

Journey

From one man's vision to Lansing's trusted painters

Worthy Finishes didn't start in a boardroom. The vision began in the 1980’s, when Doug Woodworth was operating a commercial painting company in Houston, Texas. He passed along stories and lessons to his son, not knowing that one day he would follow in his footsteps.

2013

The apprenticeship begins

Ten years of professional painting experience started here. Every brush stroke, every job site, every lesson from the old man's playbook went into building the foundation we'd need.

2023

Worthy Finishes launches

We took everything we learned and built something new. A company rooted in family values, integrity, and the belief that painting deserves respect. Greater Lansing became our home.

2024

Growth built on trust

Word spread fast in Lansing about the crew that showed up clean, communicated clearly, and treated homes like their own. Five-star reviews and referrals became our best marketing.

Today

Becoming market leaders

We're on track to become Greater Lansing's largest painting company. But we'll never outgrow the values that got us here—family first, integrity always, and clean job sites every single day.

Leadership

The crew behind the craft

These are the people who show up every day to honor our promise.
